Uttarkashi Flood Relief Work 2025
Over View
In August 2025, severe cloudburst and flash floods devastated multiple villages in the Uttarkashi district, especially the Harshil–Dharali region. Hundreds of families were affected, losing homes, livelihood, and access to essential services.
Distribution of Relief Kits
120 families in Chenagaad village received essential relief materials.
Solar lights, Pressure cookers, Blankets, Clothing, Dry ration packets, Hygiene items.
Medical Relief Support
A 6-member medical team (doctors, nurses, paramedics, and volunteers) was stationed in Uttarkashi from 6 August 2025. Free health check-ups, medicines, first-aid services, and post-disaster treatment were provided.
Guru Purnima Celebration- 2025 (Photos)

The auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima was celebrated with great reverence and devotion at Ramakrishna Mission, Dehradun on Thursday, 10th July 2025.
The day’s spiritual program began with a special Puja of Bhagavan Sri Ramakrishna, followed by Vedic Chanting, Devotional Songs, and a spiritually uplifting Discourse by Revered Swami Asimatmananda ji Maharaj. The program concluded with Pushpanjali offered by all devotees, marking a heartfelt expression of their devotion and gratitude to Bhagavan Sri Ramakrishna and the Holy Trio — Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi and Swami Vivekananda.
The celebration witnessed the loving participation of our devotee community. Over 600 devotees partook of Prasad, and in total, around 800 people were present throughout the day’s events.
We offer our humble gratitude for the divine blessings that made this sacred day a profoundly spiritual and elevating experience for all who participated.
Shri Krishna Janmashtami Celebrations
The celebrations happened in the presence of devotees, friends, and supporters of the Ashrama. The celebration started at 7pm with Sandhya Arati, followed by Special Pooja for . This was accompanied by chanting of Shri Krishna Stotra, Shrimad Bhagavata Patha and Shri Shyam Naama Sankirtana. The rituals concluded with Bhog Arata and Pushpanjali. The event concluded with the distribution of to all present.
